Bump Bar Chart is a custom Power BI visual built to show how categories move up or down across time periods, scenarios, or comparison groups. It combines rank movement with actual values so report consumers can see not only who changed position, but also by how much.
You can easily adjust the width and height of columns and rows respectively using the invisible column and row dividers. This is depicted in animated image below
The visual supports both bar and bubble layouts, connected lines between periods, optional trend columns, configurable data labels, rank numbers, and category images. It is designed for reports where movement, comparison, and magnitude all matter in the same view.
