To see the bookmarks in action click any of the first 3 charts.
Currently bookmarks can only be triggered by clicking on a button, shape or an image.
One of features requested by many Power BI users is that there should also be an option of triggering a bookmark by clicking on any VISUAL (charts, tables, matrix etc) in Power BI.
Till the time it becomes available we can use a simple workaround.
Just assign the bookmark to a transparent Shape object (such as rectangle) and place it over the VISUAL.
Don’t forget the following for this shape object
1)Turn off the Fill Property
2) reduce Line weight to 0 for this shape
3) Select the Shape >>Go to Format Tab>>Arrange>>Bring Forward>>Bring to Front
Now your Visual is behind the transparent Rectangle Shape. Now you can assign a bookmark to this transparent Rectangle.
